2007 BIO International Convention Announces 200+ Breakout Sessions

This year, in the scope of PharmaPortugal, LifeSciences & Biotechnology, 15 Portuguese companies will be represented in the "Portugal Pavilion".

PharmaPortugal, LifeSciences & Biotechnology is the result of a collaboration between ICEP,a Government Agency, APIFARMA, the Pharmaceutical Industry Association, INFARMED, the National Regulatory Agency for Medicine and APBIO, thePortuguese Bioindustries Association that intends to promote and further internationalize the Portuguese Healthcare Sector, namely biotechnology companies and pharmaceutical industry.

This new Portuguese brand aims to expand companies market base either through increasing pharmaceutical products exports or licensing agreements and partnerships with international companies for the development of new biotech products.
